Our overdraft protection feature is designed to automatically initiate cash advances for you during your times of need. It’s currently available for users with an active Grant Plus subscription who have completed at least one on-time cash advance repayments for no extra fees. You’ll find this on the “Home” tab on the Grant app if you have successfully completed an advance.
When you enroll in overdraft protection, you’ll set a threshold balance amount and the transfer method (instant or standard). Once we detect that your linked account balance falls below the threshold amount, we’ll automatically send a cash advance to you if you are eligible! Your repayment date will work like any other cash advance: we’ll schedule it on your next detected pay date and withdraw the repayment then. Please note that you will not be able to receive an overdraft protection advance if you currently have an unpaid active cash advance.
